CiCi Dixon has founded the Dixon Brain Cancer Foundation in memory of her husband, Mike, who battled the most aggressive form of pri­mary brain cancer, glioblastoma, for almost two years. The Dixon Brain Cancer Foundation has two primary purposes. The first provides travel funds to brain tumor patients who desire to seek treatment at a com­prehensive cancer center with a designated brain tumor program. The second provides funding for brain cancer research. Her talk will not only provide a basic understanding of primary brain tumors but will also ex­plain in more detail the goals of the Dixon Brain Cancer Foundation.
