A native of Fort Bragg, California, Brian Luoma received his bachelor’s degree in
Forestry from Humboldt State University. Brian joined The Westervelt Company as
President and CEO on March 20, 2017. His experience includes his most recent position
as Executive Vice President and General Manager, Siding with Louisiana-Pacific
Corporation in Nashville, Tennessee. He also served as Senior Vice President and
General Manager, Engineered Wood Products from 2012 to 2015; Vice President and
General Manager, Engineered Wood Products from 2006 to 2012; Vice President,
Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain from 2004 to 2006; along with several other
forestry related positions during his more than 29 years with Louisiana-Pacific
Corporation.

Over the course of his career, Brian has served on many Industry Association boards and
committees including the American Wood Council, the Wood Products Council and the
Forest Resources Association. Most recently he joined the Board of Directors of the
National Alliance of Forest Owners. Brian is also currently a board member of Autism
Tennessee, a non-profit organization, and has been a member of the College of
International Business Advisory Board, Belmont University. Brian is married, has three
children and four grandchildren. He and his wife Nancy reside in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
