News from the Rotary International Foundation

STICKERS, STICKERS, STICKERS everywhere………….or ALMOST everywhere. The small yellow, green, blue striped sticker with date 2012-2013 located at the bottom of a member’s name badge indicates that the Rotarian has made a contribution this Rotary year to The Rotary Foundation.
The club is coming closer to 100% but is not there yet as indicated by the name badges without an attached sticker. The easiest way to contribute is to have an amount added to your quarterly billing. Or if preferable, a single check payable to The Rotary Foundation will work also. Either way makes the Rotarian eligible for recognition and the club eligible for Every Rotarian, Every Year (EREY) recognition from the District and Rotary International. Our Club’s other opportunity for a District award is to be recognized as a STAR CLUB. That designation is awarded to each club achieving or exceeding $100 per capita contribution to the Rotary Foundation Annual Fund during the current Rotary year. If our club achieves this level of contribution by March 31 it will be recognized at the District Conference. Please consider supporting the global humanitarian outreach of the Foundation now. For those Rotarians sporting a sticker on your name badge, THANK YOU!
