Bryan N. Kindred became President/CEO of the DCH Health System in June 1996. He was executive vice president/chief operating officer from October 1994 to May 1996, executive vice president/administrator from December 1988 to October 1994 and associate administrator from February 1985 to December 1988.

He held a variety of positions for National Healthcare Inc. from November 1982-January 1985, including administrator and associate administrator of operations at Wayne County Hospital and executive director of England Community Hospital and Buffalo Island Community Hospital.

He received an associate degree in business administration from Chattahoochee Valley Community College in Phenix City in June 1978. In June 1980, he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Columbus State University in Columbus, Ga., and in August 1982, he received a master’s degree in business administration from Troy State University in Troy.

He and his wife, Claire, have two grown children.
