Bill Buchanan is originally from Fort Payne, Alabama. He graduated from UA in 1976 with B.S. degree in communications. Worked in the newspaper business, including owning newspapers in Tennessee and California. Returned to Tuscaloosa in 1992 Have been with Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports for 2.5 years. Married to Ava Buchanan, my wife of 38 years. We have three dogs who are our children.
