Greta is a currently the Director of Human Resources for SMP Automotive Systems Alabama to be located in Cottondale, AL. The plant will employ close to 1000 once completed and is scheduled to begin production in September 2018. Greta spent 16 years in food manufacturing with Nestle and Schwan’s food companies in various locations throughout the US including: Alabama, West Virginia, Iowa, Arizona, California and Georgia. Greta was able to realize a personal goal in late 2015 when she and her husband, John relocated to Tuscaloosa, AL after a 14 year absence from the state. Greta holds an undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama and a Master’s degree from Mississippi State University.
