Kellee Reinhart works with the Chancellor, the Board of Trustees, and administrative staff at UA, UAB, and UAH in media relations, crisis management, strategic planning, community outreach, executive recruitment, and joint initiatives. Before joining the UA System in 1989, Kellee spent 15 years in the publishing industry as editorial director of the Antique Monthly and Horizon Magazine, two national publications headquartered in
Alabama. She is also former assistant manager of the Alabama Press Association.

She has chaired numerous not-for-profit advisory boards, including the Alabama Writers’ Forum, the Kentuck Association, Theatre Tuscaloosa, and the Tuscaloosa Arts Council, and is involved with various civic and cultural organizations in West Alabama. Kellee
currently serves on Mayor Walt Maddox’s Citizens Advisory Committee, assisting the City of Tuscaloosa in renewal and rebuilding initiatives following the April 2011 tornado.
Kellee received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in journalism from The University of Alabama.
