Last week Tuscaloosa Rotarians welcomed Lieutenant Governor Kay Ivey. According to Ivey “Alabama is on the move”. During Governor Bentley’s 1st term over 26,000 jobs were created. Ivey stated that our leaders are focused on four initiatives for change. They include growing jobs, the right size government, new leadership in Medicaid, and a balanced budget. The main goal for Ivey is real solutions to long term problems without sacrificing services.
