Deborah BoswellDeborah Boswell is a business communication coach, consultant, speaker and seminar leader with more than 24 years of experience. She works with business leaders, managers, executives and technical professionals to sharpen business presentation skills, interpersonal communication and more. Trained as a
speech pathologist, Deborah brings her clinical experience to each corporate
assignment.

She is founder and president of Professional Speech Services of Alabama P.C. and managing partner of Child’s Play Therapy Center (with a combined staff of 36). Her offices are in Birmingham and Huntsville. She also serves clients in Nashville, Atlanta and across the country.

Deborah received her undergraduate degree from Auburn University in education/speech pathology and her master’s degree in speech pathology from the University of Montevallo.

She has been featured in Business Alabama, Birmingham Business Journal, SMPS Newsletter and other publications and recently released an audio product “Tame Your Wild Southern Accent.” Auburn University’s Samuel Ginn College of Engineering selected her to produce the DVD, “Technically Speaking: Presentations Skills for Engineers and Technical Professionals” as part of its continuing education curriculum, and she is a contributing author to the book “Live Every Day Motivated, Successful and Happy,” released by James & Brookfield Publishers.

Her professional affiliations include the National Speakers Association, Alabama Chapter; American Society for Training and Development, Greater Birmingham Chapter; American Speech-Language and Hearing Association; Corporate Speech Pathology Network; National Association of Women Business Owners; and
the Speech and Hearing Association of Alabama.
